1st. AGROBIODIVERSITY FAIR
The first event of this type to be held in Costa Rica, in an academic college. This fair was Declared of Cultural Interest by the Ministry of Culture and Youth, of Costa Rica.
This Fair is part of the graduation of the first year of Agrobiodiversity and serves as a Stage where Agriculture converges with teachers, students, parents, children, youth, grandparents, diversity of ages, cultures and interests, to raise awareness, facilitate knowledge and achieve favor food security and nutrition; and the conservation of seeds, It is a meeting of cultures where there is transmission of the cultural legacy of indigenous people and grandparents to the youth and children of the school and the farmer, the indigenous person is exalted.
It is divided into three main aspects: Academic talks by experts and given to the young people of the school. Stands for the presentation of projects from different schools, Indigenous people and Teachers from different schools. Area for the sale and tasting of plant foods and Activities for the children of the Agrobiodiversity course, games and sharing with indigenous people who visited the school.
